Jené Jackson is a single mother of three, a writer/editor, singer, actor, and amateur photographer. She grew up as a Nazarene pastor’s daughter and holds a B.A. in political science from Southern Nazarene University. Jené is active and embedded in the Colorado Springs arts community through many brilliant friends and has been Member Liaison for Pikes Peak Writers, on the board of directors for the Pikes Peak Arts Council, and a member of the Leadership Council for the Kennedy Center Imagination Celebration. She has run a bookstore, sold advertising for the local alternative weekly newspaper, and worked with the United States Hang Gliding & Paragliding Association.
